Munich report & my upcoming days
August 18th, 2007
Ohh, Mike has written his first Post - great!
So now I am back from Munich where I have been the last seven days for work. It was really exhausting, because I’ve had a handover for a huge and interesting project. But on the other site I’ve had a lovely time too. I’ve met some friends/colleagues, went to several record stores and discovered Munich’s beauty.
Yes, Munich is beauty but of course really different to Cologne. I like both cities, but I need a kiosk to buy a bottle of beer (i.e.) after ten o’clock. It’s awesome and I did not want to believe it, but it’s true… you will not find any kiosk or other places where you can buy any stuff for the evening in the radius of approx. two/three kilometers based from the “Glockenbach” (my hotel/agency is based at this neighborhood) neighborhood . I’ve found only one at the “Isar” (Munich’s river) and this must be the only one (every other kiosk is closed at this time!)… Cologne is far from it! Every 500 meter (at least) you will find a kiosk.
However, I like Munich, because of it’s beauty and quality of life!!! Additionally, Munich has a great infrastructure (i.e. no.1 in media-, insurance-business & no.2 in financial business), many possibilities to spend your free time at beautiful country sites and a lot of other advantages in contrast to other German cities. But in the bottom line I mean, that every city has advantages/disadvantages and sometimes I have abstaining from a beer!…
My Upcoming days:
Tomorrow and on Sunday I gonna go the second “Barcamp” here in Cologne. Barcamp? A Barcamp is a special kind of event, where people meet each other to speak/discuss about multimedia subjects in a really informal way. I already went to several Barcamps in Germany and it was always inspirational and useful for my daily business.
More Information about the Barcamp concept: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barcamp
And at the moment? I finished this post and I’ve heard to “Speedy’s NEW Audio Repair#43” Click here If you wanna listen to this fabulous tunes…
Good night!

October 12th, 2006
I’ve exchanged my link list for an del.icio.us account. Now it’s easier for me to administrate my links and bookmarks and in addition I can share all the websites with the crowd. You only have to click on my del.icio.us (also placed in the right column) to see all my links etc. Hope you like it!
